True/Fiction Theatre Company’s work ranges from original, devised pieces to adaptations of classic literature and performance texts - all of which investigate what it is to tell a story and to be a sentient human being in the modern world. Past successes include a rare British premiere of three Will Eno shorts, Linda Mclean’s Riddance and Neil Labute’s Bash:Latterday Plays. Formed in 2003 and based in Wales, True Fiction draws its members from an exemplary range of arts institutions: Birmingham School of Speech and Drama, Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, LAMDA, RADA, Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, Wimbledon School of Art. This infuses our work with both classical discipline and youthful energy; a fresh, vibrant and pioneering nature that is visible in every aspect of our productions. |
