The Society of Authors is seeking entries for this year's Richard Imison Award. The award, which totals £1,500, is intended to encourage new talent and high standards in writing for radio. Eligibility includes any radio drama by a writer or writers new to radio, first transmitted within the UK between 1st January and 31st December 2003. The work must be an original piece for radio, and must be the first dramatic work by the writer(s) or writers that has been broadcast. Entries may include the first episode from an original series or serial, but radio adaptations of pieces originally written for stage, television or film are not eligible.
