synopsis: ‘In Living Memory’ is a play about change, loss and renewal as experienced by succeeding generations in a Welsh mining community and tells the story of a family whose lives span the greater part of the twentieth century. Using a whole range of creative art forms this project generated opportunities for young people to reflect on the past, address the present and imagine what the future might hold for the youth of today. |
